Getting your child a head start for Kindergarten can have an enormously positive impact on your child's development throughout elementary school and beyond.
Get Set for School® is an award-winning curriculum designed by the same people who brought you Handwriting Without Tears®. This curriculum helps young learners gain the skills and experiences they need for lifelong learning success by focusing on three core learning areas. We get preschoolers singing, dancing, coloring, building, and exploring on a joyous journey to school.[1]
Featuring Three Core Learning Areas
Readiness & Writing
Just like Handwritng Without Tears®, this curriculum engages students in letter formation with Multisensory materials and Hands-On activites. Kids will Sing, Move, Craft Letters from dough and Improve Fine Motors Skills to make handwriting a breeze.
Language & Literacy
This area will help students develop Rich Vocabulary to help them respond to simple questions and discuss and share ideas. Students will be exposed to the meanings of different words, gain an understanding of various concepts, and will have an appreciation for reading books.
Numbers & Math
With playful manipulatives, music, and rhymes, our numbers and math program teaches counting, comparisons, spatial awareness, patterning, sequencing, matching, sorting, problem solving, and even Pre-K geometry skills.Features
The Get Set for School® Pre-K curriculum will engage students in concepts that most preschoolers are not exposed to, which may hinder them from performing at their highest potential throughout Elementary School.- Multisensory approach addresses different learning styles and invites active participation.

How does Get Set For School® differ from my current preschool curricum. Isn't it all the same?
Many preschools do not utilize an effective curriculum due to budgetary considerations or lack of qualified personnel. Do you offer group sessions if I can get other parents to join in?
Absolutely! Getting a group of 3-8 Pre-Schoolers together makes this curriculm even more fun and effective. at the same time, children will learn to interact socially in preparation for Kindergarten.

When should I enroll?
This curriculum works best when your student is exposed to the cocepts for 6-12 months prior to entering Kindergarten. However, we also offer a more intensive version of this program over the summer to give your student a head start in the 3 months leading up to Kindergarten.
